UI UX design services, screens people understand at first glance.

Ragnar Studios designs the flows, wireframes and visual screens for your website, web app or mobile app before a single line of code is written. You get a clickable prototype and files your developers can build from.

Why good UI UX design services save money before development starts

Most expensive software mistakes are not coding mistakes. They are design mistakes found late: a signup flow with too many steps, a checkout that confuses first-time buyers, a menu nobody can find. Fixing a rectangle on a screen costs far less than rebuilding a feature. Good UI UX design services let you test the idea on paper and in a prototype, so changes happen while they are still cheap.

UX is the thinking part: who uses the product, what they want to finish, and the shortest path to get there. UI is the visual part: layout, colours, type, buttons and spacing. Many small businesses hire only a developer and get a product that works but feels awkward. Ragnar Studios handles both layers together, so the look supports the flow instead of fighting it.

In India, most of your users are on a phone, often on a modest screen and a patchy network, and many prefer Hindi or a regional language. We design mobile-first, keep tap targets comfortable, plan for longer text in other languages, and think about UPI and wallet payment steps early. These details decide whether people finish an order or quietly leave.

A design file is also a shared language. When founders, developers and marketers all look at the same prototype, arguments about what to build get settled in a day instead of a month. Our UI UX design services end with organised files and notes your own developer, or ours, can build from without guessing. That clarity also helps you compare development quotes fairly, because every bidder is pricing the same set of screens.

What you get with our UI UX design services

Every project is scoped to your product, but these are the building blocks we work with.

Research and requirement mapping

We start by understanding your business, your users and the main job the product must do. We look at how your competitors solve the same problem, list must-have and nice-to-have features, and write down the key user journeys. This keeps the design focused on real needs instead of personal taste, and gives everyone one agreed brief.

User flows and sitemap

Before any screen is drawn, we map how a person moves through the product: from landing, to signup, to the main action, to confirmation. A sitemap or flow diagram shows every page or screen and how they connect. Gaps and dead ends become visible here, when they are easiest and cheapest to fix.

Wireframes

Wireframes are simple black-and-white layouts that show where content, buttons and forms sit on each screen. Because there are no colours or images to distract, feedback stays on structure and usability. We review them with you and settle the layout before moving into visual design, which prevents expensive rework later.

High-fidelity UI screens

Once the wireframes are approved, we design the real screens: your brand colours, typography, icons, images and spacing applied consistently. We design for common phone and desktop sizes. If you already have a logo or brand guide we follow it; if not, we can suggest a clean visual direction that suits your business.

Clickable prototype

We link the screens into an interactive Figma prototype so you can tap through the product like a real app or website. You can test it with colleagues or a few customers, watch where they hesitate and ask us to adjust. It is the cheapest way to see your idea working before development begins.

Design system and handoff files

We organise reusable parts such as buttons, form fields, colours and text styles into a simple design system, so every screen stays consistent and new screens are quicker to add. Files are named and structured for developers, with spacing and asset details, so the build matches the design without long back-and-forth.

Who our UI UX design services are for

We work with owners and teams at different stages, from first idea to a product that needs a rethink.

Startups building an MVP

If you have an idea for an app or platform, design is a sensible first spend. We turn it into flows, wireframes and a prototype you can show to co-founders, early users or investors. You can validate the idea, trim features that are not essential and give developers a clear scope to estimate against.

Businesses with a confusing website

If visitors land on your site but do not call, enquire or buy, the layout may be the problem. We review the pages, rework the structure and navigation, and design cleaner screens with clearer calls to action. This can be done as a redesign of the whole site or just the key pages.

Owners planning a mobile app

Apps are judged in seconds. Before you pay for Android or iOS development, we can design the onboarding, home screen, listing, search and payment steps so you know how the app will feel. The prototype also helps developers quote more accurately, because they can see every screen they must build.

Ecommerce and Shopify stores

Product pages, filters, cart and checkout are where sales are won or lost. We design these screens with mobile shoppers in mind, including COD and UPI payment options, clear delivery information and easy returns messaging. The design can then be built on Shopify, WooCommerce or a custom platform.

Teams with an existing app or software

Software that has grown feature by feature often becomes cluttered. We review your current screens, point out where users likely struggle, and redesign the worst areas first. A shared design system then keeps new features consistent, so the product stops looking like it was built by five different people.

Agencies and developers who need a designer

If you build software but need a design partner, we can supply wireframes, UI and handoff files that fit your development process. We work in Figma, share files early, and keep naming and structure tidy so your developers can start building without waiting for clarifications.

How our UI UX design services process works

A clear sequence, with your approval at each stage before we move on.

1. Discovery call and brief

We talk on WhatsApp, phone or a call about your goal, your users, your budget range and any examples you like. You can share existing screens, documents or even rough sketches. From this we write a short scope listing the screens, deliverables and what is out of scope, so there are no surprises later.

2. Quote and kickoff

We share a custom quote based on the scope: number of screens, platforms, research depth, prototype needs and timeline preference. Once you agree and we confirm the start terms in writing, we collect brand assets, access to any existing product and the names of people who will approve each stage.

3. Flows and wireframes

We draw the user flows and low-fidelity wireframes for every agreed screen and share them for review. You comment directly or on a call. We revise within the agreed rounds and ask for approval before visual design begins, because changing structure after the UI is finished costs time and money.

4. Visual design

We apply colours, typography, icons and imagery to the approved wireframes and produce the high-fidelity screens. We check text sizes, contrast and spacing so screens stay readable on small phones. If a design system is part of the scope, we build it alongside, so repeated elements stay consistent.

5. Prototype and feedback

We connect the screens into a clickable prototype and walk you through it. You can test with your team or customers and send changes. We update the design within the agreed revisions. The goal is to find confusing moments now, while a change takes minutes rather than a development sprint.

6. Handoff and support

We deliver organised Figma files, exported assets and short notes on behaviour, such as what happens on errors or empty states. If your developers have questions while building, we can clarify the design. Development itself can be done by us or by your own team, depending on what we agree.

How we take your UI UX brief

This is exactly how an enquiry becomes a project.

Share your idea

Fill the form or message us on WhatsApp with your product type, approximate screens and any references. Rough notes or sketches are fine.

We review and ask questions

We look at your inputs and ask a few questions about users, features and deliverables so the scope is clear.

Quote and scope

We share a custom quote with the list of screens, deliverables and revision rounds. You approve before work starts.

Design, review and handoff

We deliver wireframes, UI and a prototype in stages for your feedback, then hand over organised Figma files.

UI UX design services: pricing, timeline and what affects cost

We do not publish a fixed price list for design work, because projects differ a lot. Here is what moves the quote.

Custom quote after requirements

Ragnar Studios gives a custom quote after understanding your requirements. A five-screen landing flow and a forty-screen marketplace app are very different jobs, so a single price would be misleading. Share what you plan to build, and we will respond with a scope and quote that you can review before deciding.

Number of screens and platforms

The biggest cost driver is how many unique screens you need, and whether they are for web, Android, iOS or all three. Responsive layouts for several screen sizes add effort. Reused patterns reduce it. Listing every screen you can think of at the start helps us quote realistically.

Research and UX depth

A light project may only need requirement mapping and wireframes. A larger one may include competitor study, detailed user journeys, content planning and usability testing with real users. More research gives stronger decisions but takes more time, so we match the depth to your budget and risk.

Design system and handoff detail

A simple style guide is quicker than a full component library with states, variants and notes for developers. If several people will build or extend the product, the larger system pays off. If it is a one-time landing flow, a light version is usually enough.

Revisions and decision speed

Quotes assume a defined number of revision rounds. Feedback that arrives late, or that changes direction after wireframes are approved, adds time. Naming one decision maker and giving consolidated feedback is the easiest way to keep the project fast and the cost close to the original quote.

Indicative market ranges and timeline

For context only: an indicative market range in India is roughly ₹20,000 or less for small landing pages with freelancers, and several lakh rupees for large apps with research. This is a rough guide, not a Ragnar quote. Timeline depends on scope, and we discuss a schedule with you after the brief.

What are UI UX design services?

UI UX design services plan and design how a digital product works and looks. UX covers research, user flows and wireframes so the product is easy to use. UI covers the visual screens: colours, typography, icons and layout. The result is usually a clickable prototype and design files that developers use to build your website or app.

What is the difference between UI and UX design?

UX (user experience) is about how a product works: the steps, the structure and whether people can finish their task easily. UI (user interface) is about how it looks: buttons, colours, fonts and spacing. Good products need both. A beautiful screen with a confusing flow still loses users, and a smart flow with poor visuals feels untrustworthy.

How much do UI UX design services cost in India?

There is no single price. Cost depends on the number of screens, platforms, research depth, prototype and design system needs, and revisions. Indicative market range in India runs from a few thousand rupees for a tiny freelance job to several lakhs for large apps; this is not a Ragnar quote. We give a custom quote after understanding your requirements.

Do I need wireframes before the final design?

We recommend it. Wireframes let you approve structure and content placement without being swayed by colours and images. Changing a wireframe takes minutes, while changing a finished UI or built feature takes much longer. For very small projects steps can be combined, and we will tell you what that trade-off is.

Do your UI UX design services cover mobile and desktop?

Yes, if it is part of the agreed scope. Because most Indian users browse on phones, we usually design mobile screens first and then adapt them for tablet and desktop. For apps we can design Android and iOS versions. Please mention the platforms in the form so the quote reflects them.

Can my own developer build from your designs?

Yes. We deliver organised Figma files with named layers, reusable components, exported assets and notes on behaviour, so any competent developer can follow them. If questions come up during the build, we can clarify. We can also develop the product ourselves if you prefer one team for design and development.

How long do UI UX design services take?

It depends on scope. A short flow of a few screens needs far less time than a large app with research and a design system. We do not promise a fixed timeline before seeing your brief. After understanding your screens and deliverables, we share a realistic schedule along with the quote.
